The events that you cannot miss this summer 2018 in Paris
It’s official, summer is here. It is time to organize your vacations, enjoy the most and travel. TIME TO ENJOY HAS COME! For me, the French capital is the perfect place for it. The terraces full of charm, cultural visits and all the events you cannot miss in Paris 2018 … Everything is outlined so that you have the greatest time 😉
1. Festival Solidays 2018
Do you like music? Do you like charitable causes? Then do not doubt anymore and buy your tickets to the best Festival in France. This year Solidays will celebrate its 20-year anniversary and the new edition “We are all heroes” will bring together a lot of French and international artists.
See you at the Longchamp Racecourse on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th? 😉
Keep in mind that this event that brought together more than 200,000 visitors last year is a solidarity manifestation to fight against HIV. And every year, the festival’s revenues allow the Solidarité Sida association to implement prevention and support actions for sick people in more than 20 countries.
The line-up is exceptional … And for this reason, I have prepared a small playlist Solidays 2018.
2. The night fountain show of the Château de Versailles
The castle of Versailles was the residence of the famous King Louis XIV and today is one of the places you cannot miss when you visit Paris. I strongly advise you to visit the Château de Versailles and its gardens, but I recommend you even more to do it at night with a magical sound and light show.
Every Saturday night from 16th June to 15th September, 2018 you can walk through the lush forests and French gardens to the rhythm of Baroque music. Gardens and fountains become magical thanks to the game of light and sound. And the icing on the cake is that the night will end with a firework show.
This nocturnal visit will always stay in your memory, I promise.
Tips : If you want to move quickly and easily from Paris to Versailles, you can rent a scooter in Paris. You are going to save a lot of time and energy!
3. Summer sales in Paris 2018
Are you an addict shopper? Does traveling for you mean SHOPPING? In Paris you will find everything you like because there is everything. The city is not known as the capital of Fashion for nothing 😉
The summer sales 2018 will begin on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 8 in the morning and will end on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
Everyone has their budget for the holidays and for this is for this reason I am going to give you a list of several places with different styles and prices to go shopping in Paris.
The luxury shopping ++: Faubourg Saint Honoré, Vendôme, Rue de la Paix et les Champs Élysées where you will find mostly jewelry, watches, luxury accessories from French and international creators.
The “affordable” luxury shopping: Les Galeries Lafayette, Le Printemps et le Bon Marché (fashion, accessories and cosmetics of all brands).
The atypical little shops in the Marais : Are you in Paris for a weekend and want to go shopping on a Sunday? You have to know that the stores of the Marais area are open on Sunday and that it is the only open neighborhood 😊 You can find great brands, but also small atypical shops, trendy and intimate. You are going to like them a lot!!
Memories in Montmartre : Are you looking for gifts or souvenirs for your family or yourself? Montmartre is the neighborhood you’re looking for (Eiffel Tower keychains, postcards and culinary specialties). In addition, the place is wonderful … open your eyes to the world of Amélie Poulain!
4. The Pride party in Paris – GAY PRIDE
Have you already participated in a GAY PRIDE? I did 😊 and I can tell you that being Gay or not Gay experiencing this once in your life is very important.
During this day you can be anyone you want, accept yourself as you are and show it. This is a path of acceptance of you own personality and of the others. Each one is different, and you have to respect these differences and respect them.
Do you want to feel free? Well, go for it! It’s June 30th. Claims + Party = perfect program.
Appointment: Saturday June 30th at 2:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Concorde. In addition, when finishing, in the plaza de la Republica there will be a free concert 😉
